Bodymind Gestalt Group

The Bodymind Gestalt Group is for people who are interested in expanding their personal awareness to effect positive change in their lives. In this 12-session psychotherapy intensive, questions such as how to gain comfort in your own skin, improve upon your relationships and act on your potential will be explored so that you may open to new and more effective choices.

Bodymind awareness practices will help you to shift your focus into the here and now and prepare you for the work we will do together. Participants will be introduced to Gestalt process and group work. With its here and now focus, Gestalt promotes greater awareness. In this group, opportunities will be created to try things out using the whole body and in so doing participants can become aware of just how it is they get stuck. In the Gestalt process, participants are guided to find the necessary support within themselves to risk new ways of relating to themselves, others and their environment.

Yoga For Anxious Times
In this workshop, you will be introduced to yoga practices that cool the nervous system by replenishing a healthy flow between energized and relaxed states of being. Special attention will be paid to the physical and psychological armouring that accompany sensations and the breath cycle when anxiety, stress and insomnia are present. We will identify the elements of the yoga practice that are particularly useful for application in your daily life and explore means to address obstacles to practice.

Through yoga postures, breathing practice, meditation and self-exploration you will be introduced to a broad array of tools for coping. Ideal for anyone with a desire to free up their excitement for a more fully engaged life.
